One Of The Greatest Howard Stern Interviews Of All Time

Yesterday while researching Hollywood’s dark little secret that it harbors powerful pedophiles and predators, I came across an interview that Howard Stern did with Rich Cronin, the singer from 90′s boy band LFO and holy shit, what an interview! First and foremost, Rest In Peace. Rich died from his battle with Leukemia in 2010. Secondly, I’ve been a Howard Stern listener for almost 20 years and I have to say that this interview is one of the greatest interviews I’ve heard on the show and a lot of that credit goes to Rich, who is an amazing story teller. The majority of the interview focuses on Lou Pearlman, the guy who created The Backstreet Boys, Nsync, LFO and many of the other boy bands of the 90′s and whaddaya know, the guy is a creepy predator who created these boy bands to take advantages of young boys, and it gets you wondering about who are the Lou Pearlman’s of Hollywood? As you start to dig into these matters, you come to the realization that although Hollywood is all about glitz and glam, deep in its crevices below the casting couch, there exist a dark and dirty place, where kids are abused by powerful producers and parents turn a blind eyed in the name of maintaining their child’s career. It was alleged that Robert Downey Jr posting under the screen name Himmmm called out one of these producers on the site Crazy Days and Nights:

Hes a monster. The WORST predator alive. And if you wonder why nobody will confront or charge him? Hes in charge of multiple HIT SHOWS for **** which rakes in oceans of money. Tens of millions of dollars multiplied by many years and many shows (not to mention his merchandising royalties). So ******-**** warn him to cool it – then pay for his damn lawyers.

What about the parents? No tweener parent who shoved their kid into the limelight from birth is going to cross him either, and risk career suicide and loss of revenue (and residuals and future career). No matter how bad it ****s up the kids. Especially if theres MULTIPLE kid actors in the family. And the kids agents are complicit too. Just ask the ****** family. A LOT of settlements get paid out of ****** accounts.

Is it any coincidence that so many child stars become fucked up adults??? Just something to think about. Anyways, enjoy the interview, its hilariously insightful and disgusting at the same time.
