The Daily Man-Up: Passive is The New Aggressive

(photo: @rawpixel)

On the surface, avoidance and non-confrontational manipulation has its merits.  It helps you to escape from being at odds with people.  By playing the “pleaser” you can garner reciprocal “back-scratching” from coworkers and people you are networking with.  In relationships, it will help you get what you want without needing to have painful conversations.  But what is the cost?

When you look a little deeper, It turns out the “Ol’ Palpy” approach to life is expensive.  Much more expensive than the payoffs, or the alternative, in fact.  First, avoiding conflict never extinguishes conflict.  It only delays it.  And in being avoidant you actually inflame the issue at hand, so that when it comes to the surface, the situation becomes more dramatic than it needs to be.  Second, “pleasing” always breeds resentment.  The yes-man always feels ripped off because his true feelings are never heard.  And the people being manipulated always feel cheated because they feel like they never have a choice in the matter at hand.  Third, passive/avoidant types usually have bad tempers.  This is because a) their feelings are always bottled up, and b) they become trapped in situations they can’t get out of because they don’t want to step on any toes.  Fourth, this type of guy usually ends up feeling isolated.  When your goal is to avoid conflict you can hardly ever connect to anyone deeply-because that would require a level of vulnerability that is uncomfortable and risky.  Also, “nice guys” tend to be anxious, because they spend so much energy on trying to make everyone around them happy.

The ultimate casualties in the equation are our courage, and ultimately, our character.  The guy who avoids conflict and resorts to manipulation to get what he wants is afraid he can’t get it any other way.  It’s impossible not to become a deceiver when you live this way, and in dishonesty there cannot reside respect or integrity.  The net effect is a new breed of men who have no inherent power outside of the shadows.

Fellas, it’s time we learn to take our power back, and in the process restore our lost courage, confidence, and character.

Since suicide is an unforgivable sin for christians many people, especialy women in 18th century resorted to suicide by proxy. They would usualy murder a child, a crime punishable by death and ask for forgiveness right before the execution (article)

Ray Lewis grew up using a deck of cards to do push ups and sit ups. If he drew a 7 he would do 7. An ace was 25 and a Joker 30. He would go through the whole deck. In the nfl, he would do it 3 times for each exercise. Also the reason he wore 52 was because of the number of cards in the deck (article)

The snow used in the Wizard of Oz was 100% pure asbestos (article)

That white stuff covering Judy Garland? Pure asbestos, of course—in chrysotile form, making the material a bit more dangerous than, say, in building material. (By the way, not exactly a nice gesture on the part of the Good Witch there, but odds are good she didn’t know about mesothelioma, because not a lot of people did.)

In defense of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and other users of asbestos snow in the 1930s, this stuff was common, and not only on film sets. It was not unheard of during this period to purchase Christmas supplies that included a form of fake snow made of asbestos.

The “Flynn Effect” which shows the average IQ is rising steadily each generation. IQ tests are continually made harder to keep the average at 100. Today’s children that take tests from past decades are averaging significantly higher than 100

The Flynn effect is the substantial and long-sustained increase in both fluid and crystallized intelligence test scores that were measured in many parts of the world over the 20th century. When intelligence quotient (IQ) tests are initially standardized using a sample of test-takers, by convention the average of the test results is set to 100 and their standard deviation is set to 15 or 16 IQ points. When IQ tests are revised, they are again standardized using a new sample of test-takers, usually born more recently than the first. Again, the average result is set to 100. However, when the new test subjects take the older tests, in almost every case their average scores are significantly above 100.

Test score increases have been continuous and approximately linear from the earliest years of testing to the present. For the Raven’s Progressive Matrices test, a study published in the year 2009 found that British children’s average scores rose by 14 IQ points from 1942 to 2008. Similar gains have been observed in many other countries in which IQ testing has long been widely used, including other Western European countries, Japan, and South Korea.

There are numerous proposed explanations of the Flynn effect, as well as some skepticism about its implications. Similar improvements have been reported for other cognitions such as semantic and episodic memory. Research suggests that there is an ongoing reversed Flynn effect, i.e. a decline in IQ scores, in Norway, Denmark, Australia, Britain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, France and German-speaking countries, a development which appears to have started in the 1990s.

Despite infamously campaigning on “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever,” Alabama governor George Wallace later renounced segregationism, publicly apologized to the black community, and appointed record numbers of African Americans to state positions and his cabinet.

In the late 1970s, Wallace announced that he was a born-again Christian ) and apologized to black civil rights leaders for his past actions as a segregationist. He said that while he had once sought power and glory, he realized he needed to seek love and forgiveness. In 1979, Wallace said of his stand in the schoolhouse door: “I was wrong. Those days are over, and they ought to be over.” He publicly asked for forgiveness from blacks.

LeBron James’ “Promise School” where at-risk students have 8 hour days, a longer school year and receive free meals, bikes, and tuition (article)

James knows what it’s like to be an at-risk student himself. As a fourth grader, he says, he missed 83 days of school while he and his mother moved from one couch or spare room to the next. He credits mentors, some of whom he met at school, with a turnaround that helped him attend every day of fifth grade — which was also the first year he played organized basketball.

Now, 240 third- and fourth-graders will make up the inaugural class at the I Promise School, which opened this week in James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio.

The unusual school is a public school formed in collaboration between James’ philanthropic foundation and Akron Public Schools. Its out-of-the-box offerings include a long school day (eight hours); a “support circle” for students after lunch; and GED courses and job placement for parents. All are driven by James’ mission to help kids overcome what he faced as a low-income student in Akron, he says.

Several computer algorithms have named Bobby Fischer the best chess player in history. Years after his retirement Bobby played a grandmaster at the height of his career. He said Bobby appeared bored and effortlessly beat him 17 times in a row. “He was too good. There was no use in playing him”

He was too good. There was no use in playing him. It wasn’t interesting. I was getting beaten, and it wasn’t clear to me why. It wasn’t like I made this mistake or that mistake. It was like I was being gradually outplayed, from the start. He wasn’t taking any time to think. The most depressing thing about it is that I wasn’t even getting out of the middle game to an endgame. I don’t ever remember an endgame. He honestly believes there is no one for him to play, no one worthy of him. I played him, and I can attest to that.

The quietest place on Earth is in a small studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At -13 dBA it’s so quiet you can hear the internal workings of your body. (article)

Once inside, Orfield told me that it’s been falsely reported numerous times that a record has been set for “the longest time a person can stay in the room.” There is no such record; a person can potentially stay an indefinite period of time in the chamber. But what he has done over the years is insisted that national news outlets experience 45 minutes of perfect silence in the room, in darkness, before he allows them to do a story. Because it’s very important to understand silence before you can really discuss it.

A few minutes in, I shifted slightly, and experienced a sudden revelation: Oh, my shoulder makes a sound when I move it, apparently. I had read that you can hear your own body going about its processes while in the room, and that a human can become disoriented. I experienced both sensations (although interestingly, I was mostly unable to hear myself breathe), and the latter was hardly upsetting … in fact, it was transcendent.

In the last couple of minutes in the chamber before the light came on and the door opened, I began to feel weightless and detached, as though my consciousness was separating from my body. My head began to feel elongated, like a balloon filling with air. I’ve never taken any hallucinogenic drugs, but I believe you would describe the sensations I felt as “mildly tripping balls.” I didn’t see any colors or visions; I didn’t see anything at all, of course. But I felt the perfect stillness and serenity of the room, I heard nothing, I saw nothing, and I began to feel as though I was stretching in all directions; that my being was filling the void.

Most states require car manufacturers to sell through the dealers. Even if your order directly from the factory, the order must go through the dealer. This dealer distribution system adds around 30% to the price of the cars. (article)

Most states require car manufacturers to sell through dealers. Even if you order directly from the factory, the order must go through the car dealer. This expensive dealer distribution system adds about 30 percent to the cost of cars.

Until 1984, people bought home computers the way they buy cars, through retail dealers like Best Buy. Then, a 19-year-old named Michael Dell offered to sell computers directly to the public, by mail order. His recipe for success: build the computer exactly to the customer’s specifications, after the customer orders it; cut out the middleman and dramatically cut the price.

In 1985, Dell’s first year in operation, his company grossed more than $73 million. Now, many people buy their computers directly from the manufacturer, while others who prefer a different shopping experience buy from a local computer store. Computer prices have dropped dramatically, and Dell is a multibillion dollar company.

According to a study, strict parents can turn their kids into more effective liars because children who are afraid to tell the truth learn more deceptive behaviors to avoid getting in trouble. (article)

Martin Luther King’s mother was also assassinated. A deranged man who believed Christianity was harming African Americans gunned her down as she played the organ in church. He was sentenced to death but this was commuted to life imprisonment because the Kings opposed capital punishment

Alberta King was shot and killed on June 30, 1974, at age 69, by Marcus Wayne Chenault, a 23-year-old black man from Ohio who shot her with two pistols as she sat at the organ of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Chenault stated that he shot King because “all Christians are my enemies”, and claimed that he had decided that black ministers were a menace to black people. He said his original target had been Martin Luther King Sr., but he had decided to shoot his wife instead because she was close to him. Edward Boykin, one of the church’s deacons, was also killed in the attack, and a woman was wounded. Alberta was interred at the South View Cemetery in Atlanta. Martin Luther King Sr. died of a heart attack on November 11, 1984, at age 84 and was interred next to her.

Chenault was sentenced to death; although this sentence was upheld on appeal, he was later resentenced to life in prison, partially as a result of the King family’s opposition to the death penalty. On August 3, 1995, he suffered a stroke, and was taken to a hospital, where he died of complications from his stroke on August 19, at age 44.

JFK’s father Joseph Kennedy made much of his fortune through insider trading. FDR later made him chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. When asked why he appointed a crook, FDR replied, “set a thief to catch a thief.” Kennedy proceeded to outlaw the practices that made him rich. (article)

Convicted murderer of 13 year old Mary Phagan Leo Frank after he was kidnapped from prison and lynched by several Atlanta higher-ups in 1915

Pencil Factory Superintendent Leo Frank, 31 confessed murderer and rape of Mary Phagan in 1913. The jury unanimously voted that he was guilty. The jury included several Jewish jurors. Not a single one of them voted that he was not guilty. His wife, Lucille Selig, refused to be buried next to her husband in her passing. Many of the factory girls employed at his factory testified that his character for lasciviousness was bad. In his attempts at getting away with the murder, Leo Frank tried to pin the blame on two black employees, Newt Lee, the night watchman, and James ”Jim” Conley, the janitor, who admitted he was an accomplice to the murder by disposing of Mary Phagan’s body by dragging it from the metal room to the basement.

Leo Frank infamously broke his only alibi on August of 1913, where in prior he stated he’d never left his office at the time of Mary Phagan’s slaying. On August of 1913, Leo Frank unknowingly stated what amounted to a murder confession where he admitted he may have had an ”unconscious visit to the men’s bathroom” at the exact time and place Mary Phagan died (the men’s bathroom was located right next to Mary Phagan’s workstation, and there were no other people on Frank’s floor that day, as everyone else was well accounted for. Leo Frank’s house maid also testified that she heard Leo Frank confess to his wife that he murdered Mary Phagan on the night of the murder.

Every legal jurisdiction in Atlanta and the Supreme Court ruled Leo Frank had a very fair trial, despite his constant appeals. When he was about to be lynched and asked if he was guilty of murdering Mary Phagan, Leo Frank ”hung his head in shame” and then stated ”I care more about my mother and my wife than I do my own life”.

Fight Until You Hear the Bell!

If you drop your arms before you hear the bell, you are going to get knocked the fuck out! As humans, we fall in love with the idea of being someone great. The second we hit a roadblock in our plan to greatness, a lot of us throw in the towel.

Instead of giving up on your goals, learn to look at it from a different angle. It’s important in life not to be fixed-minded. The journey you are on is constantly changing. You have to be willing to compromise. Sometimes you have to be willing to let go of your original plan.

A lot of us don’t want to get our hands dirty when shit gets hard. You have to have the self-discipline to see your plan through until the end. Self-discipline is so important because very few of us have anyone who is going to wake us up in the morning to keep us on track. Stop relying on other people to push you, encourage you, coach you, etc. You have to establish habits that make it second nature to keep your hands up in the fight until you hear the bell. You also have to be ready for a cheap shot after the bell!

Your best work has to come when you have the least inspiration. It’s on those days that you have to remind yourself why the fuck you are even doing what you are doing. You can not drop your arms just because you are tired!! If you want to achieve greatness in life, it comes with a huge compromise in your life. To be a doctor, it takes about 13 years after high school. To be a lawyer, it takes about 7 years. To be a professional athlete, it can consume your whole life. To train for a marathon, it can take a runner 16 weeks of training. In all of these instances, you are compromising time with friends, family, social time, maybe sleep, etc.

Only you can define the meaning of success to you. Everybody is different. Judging and comparing yourself to other people is a fucking waste of time.
If you are one of those people looking for more, you will have to sacrifice. Sticking with sports analogies, if you don’t play until you hear the whistle, don’t be surprised when life knocks you on your ass!

The 7 Stages Of Amphetamine Addiction

0

meth addiction

I would like to, create a reference point (not only for addicts, but also future addicts and spectators as well) for the process of amphetamine addiction developing in the mind – mainly by noting what effects dwindle at what phases, and what effects become prominent at what stages. This is all mostly through self-experience although I am also researching a bit on the topic.

Amphetamine (and its derivatives) are unique from most other drugs. The effects of amphetamine work in discrete stages, and some effects may continue while other effects wear off.

A user develops tolerance to amphetamine in different ways than he would develop tolerance to say, opiates or benzos. Amphetamine tolerance is not caused by an increase of corresponding receptors, but instead it is mainly caused by depletion of the neurotransmitters it releases (dopamine, norepinephrine, and some serotonin) and also because amphetamine is neurotoxic (not only will the amphetamine molecule itself cause neuron damage, but the oxidation resulting from the metabolism of neurotransmitters reaches abnormally high levels and can kill neurons. Also, an increased body temperature can increase the potential for neuron death.) Amphetamine tolerance can also indirectly be the product of lack of sleep and poor nutrition. Amphetamine tolerance has many more factors which play in to it than traditional drugs. Some users find that with responsible usage, they can delay amphetamine tolerance indefinitely. Other users find that tolerance can be accumulated rapidly from just one period of binge usage.

The effects of amphetamine do not remain constant either; the effects transform into different types of effects over time. Some effects disappear, and sometimes new effects set in. Because of this, prolonged amphetamine use seems like it can be illustrated as working in phases or stages.

Note: The Cause of transitioning to further stages (past the first 2) is usually caused by factors such as Lack of sleep, Malnutrtion, Sedentary Lifestyle, or simply because the dose is too large.

Stage 1 of Amphetamine Use – During this stage, amphetamine will be at its hedonic peak; the pleasure of taking amphetamine will not get any higher from this point on. The most notable feelings are a “lovey” feeling, powerful euphoria, increased motivation, deep philosophical thinking, strong feelings of “lust”, etc.

Length of phase:

1-3 days with binge usage;

5-10 days with daily usage;

About 5-15 uses total if used sparingly with atleast several days inbetween doses.

Characteristic Effects of this Stage:

  • Powerful euphoria

  • Empathy and socialability

  • Overwhelming amount of increased motivation

Stage 2 of Amphetamine Use – During this stage, the “lovey” and empathetic feelings of amphetamine quickly fade, although the “pleasurable” feelings of euphoria and increased motivation are still present. The decrease in empathetic feelings is likely responsible from a depletion of serotonergic vesicles. Most users note that it is impossible to transition back to “Stage 1” at this point, no matter how long of a break a person takes from amphetamine. This suggests that a permanent tolerance develops for the empathetic effects of the drug – whether this occurs from a psychological acclimation to the effects, or from physiological reasons, I don’t know. This is the stage which doctors aim for when prescribing amphetamine for medicinal use with ADD and ADHD. This stage can be prolonged for quite some time (and if the dose is low enough, some medical professionals say that this phase can be prolonged indefinitely) this is assuming of course that the user continuously maintains an adequate amount of high quality sleep (7+ hours a night), proper nutrition, and a non-sedentary lifestyle.

Length of Stage:

1-7 days with binge usage (note that binge usage is defined by immediately taking another dose once the effects of one dose wear off or begin to wear off, interrupting sleep in the process).

2 Weeks to 6+ Months if used daily (and maintaining a healthy lifestyle). Indefinitely if used sparingly (with 3-5+ days inbetween uses).

Characteristic Effects of this Stage:

  • Increased Motivation

  • Slight Euphoria

Stage 3 of Amphetamine Use, the “Tool” phase – At this point, most if not all empathetic effects of usage have diminished. This point is characterized by the fact that amphetamine becomes the sole motivator for tasks, hence the nickname “The Tool Phase” because amphetamine is now used as a Tool for accomplishment. The negative physiological effects (the “body load”) become more prominent.

Length of Stage:

At this point, it is hard to define the length it will take to transition from one stage to the next. Some users will find that if they take breaks from their usage or just lower their dose, they can go backwards to earlier stages. Some binge users may even rapidly progress through the stages, possibly even skipping to the final ones or developing psychosis.

Characteristic Effects of this stage:

  • Period of ‘positive effects’ and period of ‘negative effects’ from taking a dose begin to merge. (usually, if negative effects are present they only follow after the positive effects wear off)

  • The user needs amphetamine to stay at/above a baseline level of motivation, and when amphetamine is not in effect the user is below a baseline level of motivation.

  • In order for a task to be done effeciently, the user finds that they need to be on amphetamine.

  • The level of euphoria decreases to a point where it is no more significant than the level of euphoria which most people get from daily life without amphetamine.

Stage 4 of Amphetamine Use, “The Decline” – The efficiency of amphetamine as a “Tool” begins to drop significantly, and this stage is characterized by the “comedown” (the period of negative effects after the drug begins to wear off) becoming much stronger. The “comedown” may even begin to merge in with the period of positive effects. At this point, the body load may begin to become painful.

Characteristic Effects of this Stage:

  • Painful body load (Muscle Pain, High Blood Pressure, Inadequate Circulation, Dehydration, Malnutrition, deterioration of the skin and other tissues, etc).

  • Depression

  • Severe Anxiety

Stage 5 of Amphetamine Use, The Procrastination – This Stage may or may not be experienced by amphetamine users. In this stage, the positive effects of amphetamine are almost absent if not completely gone, and the “coming up” of a dose of amphetamine is subsequently followed by an immediate barrage of negative effects (both physiological and psychological). The reason this phase is called “The Procrastination” is because the user forgets how unbearable the negative sensations are (due to amphetamine compromising the brain’s ability to efficiently make memories, especially goal-orientated memories); by the next day, even though the user may have told himself to not take amphetamine, he takes amphetamine again anyways (due to the brain not being able to make a goal-orientated memory, the brain was unable to produce counter-motivation to stop the user from taking more amphetamine the next day). This might possibly be the most psychologically painful and strenuous phase for the amphetamine user, since he is unable to figure out why he keeps taking amphetamine even though he clearly knows it only causes him pain.

Characteristic Effects:

  • Repeatedly taking amphetamine despite knowledge that it no longer gives the desired effects, and only causes negative effects.

Stage 6 of Amphetamine Use, Irritability and Pessimism – This phase is characterized by extreme irritability. The user begins forgetting the drug is responsible for his negative feelings, and begins to blame things in the environment around them instead. The user begins to think that other people are responsible for how poorly he/she feels. The user might show hostility, or social withdrawal. The user also begins to develop an extremely pessimistic attitude towards life.

Characteristic Effects of this Stage:

  • Acute Depression

  • Severe Anxiety

  • Irritability, even when the drug is out of the user’s system

  • Psychosis

  • Inability to Sleep

  • Severe Restlessness

  • lack of willpower

  • Inability to find “the right choice of words”

  • Obsessive Thinking

Stage 7 of Amphetamine use, Nihilism and Dissociation – During this phase, incidences of psychosis begin to emerge (if they haven’t already) even if the drug user has been maintaining an adequate amount of sleep. The user usually becomes nihilistic, thinking that nothing in life matters or has meaning. Some users may even become solipsistic, which means they think that they are the only things which are real in the world. Solipsism is often accompanied by paranoia, or thinking that others only have the intention of harming the solipsistic individual. If the user had obtained any philosophical or metacognitive methods of thinking during the earlier stages of amphetamine use, those same metacognitive methods begin to eat away at the person’s psyche. They feel as if they are helpless to do anything besides sit back and watch their mind become unravelled. Even if the user realizes that his irritable attitude towards other people isn’t how he truly feels, he is unable to manage his irritability (most likely due to a complete diminishment of serotonin, as well as the brain’s ability to make memories being compromised). The individual’s ego may begin to deconstruct itself, and the user may have a feeling that they completely lack any willpower to do anything. This stage is also accompanied by a large amount of confusion.

Characteristic Effects of this stage:

  • Confusion

  • Paranoia

  • Unbearable Depression and Anxiety

  • Delusions

  • Increased Incidences of Psychosis

  • Increasingly Painful Body Load

  • Lack of willpower

  • Cognition become confusing and incoherent. Users often claim things like their mind is “too loud”, “jumping to false conclusions”, or “doesn’t make sense” and the user feels helpless to control this.

  • Panic Attacks become very prominent

  • Feelings of Deja Vu

  • If weight loss was experienced in beginning stages, it may come to a hault or even reverse into weight gain

  • Inability to experience pleasure

  • Akathisia

  • Feelings that an individual no longer has “free will”

  • Difficult to form coherent sentences and speak properly. Similar to “Clanging” or “Word Salad” experienced in schizophrenics.

Stage 7b “Letting Go / Giving Up” – This stage is not always experienced, but in some instances after the user has experienced an excruciating and unbearable amount of anxiety and mental stress, he may experience a period of “Letting Go” in which the brain gives up on constructing/maintaining its deluded psychological structures. The negative effects of the drug temporarily fade, and the user has a “moment of peace”. This temporary phase usually only lasts several hours (if not less) before the user returns to phase 7. Since the brain during this phase has completely abandoned any attempts to make goal orientated behaviour, the user may find it difficult (or simply not want to) to take care of themselves. However, during this phase, the user will find that they will actually be able to get to sleep, and they should take advantage of this temporary somnia to get sleep. I do not know what neurological mechanisms are responsible for this phase; it is almost as if it is the brain’s last resort – to enter a careless and stressless stupor. Perhaps the brain releases endorphins in response to the unbearable anxiety?

Characteristic Effects:

  • Stupor
  • Irresponsiveness

  • Carelessness

  • Ironically, if effects of “word salad” or “clanging” were experienced in stage 7, they are no longer as present in stage 7b.

Stage 8, “The Stupor”, Brain Damage – In this stage, amphetamine no longer gives effects, and the brain’s desire for taking amphetamine (even if taking it has become a habit) begins to drop. As long as amphetamine use continues, the user makes no progress towards recovery of any sort. The individual is unresponsive and disconnected. Amphetamine has a tendency to make the user put too much effort into anything/everything, and this gives the brain not a single moment of psychological “rest” (where the individual doesn’t think deeply). However, during this phase, it is quite the opposite – the individual’s mind is in a prolonged state of resting and won’t even follow through with the very act of thinking if the thought takes too much effort to think. During this phase, the user may have a steep decline in intelligence.

Characteristic Effects:

  • Prolonged episodes of stupor and carelessness

  • Lethargy

  • Diminished Intelligence and mental efficiency

  • Irreversible Psychological Damage

  • Possible brain damage

  • The individual may develop a “permanent stuttering” which persists even after amphetamine has long since been ceased.

  • In a similar way that the stuttering develops, an individual may develop a possible permanent difficulty talking, using correct grammar and sentence structure, or expressing thoughts to others. In severe cases, this may even resemble a schizophrenic’s clanging or word salad.

  • Essentially, the mind at this point is irreversibly compromised. The user’s personality might have changed permanently. The individual may be much more easily irritated for the rest of his/her life. Cognitive functioning will never work the same as it used to. Although the user may make improvements and greatly recover, it will almost always seem like something “isn’t right” in the mind, or that something is “missing”. Individuals will still be able to lead fulfilling lives, and some may make amazing recoveries where they feel normal again like they did before they ever began using. Unfortunately, in severe cases, the individual may never be the same again.

xanax dealer

The information provided in this interview is for entertainment purposes only. We do not condone the sale or purchase of illegal drugs.

I’ve been drug dealing for the past 4 years now. I did have a year where I didn’t sell anything but besides that, it’s been pretty steady. The problem is, I just don’t think I can stop. It’s become an addiction. I don’t give a fuck about getting high. I smoke weed and drink alcohol occasionally but, besides that, I haven’t touched another drug.

There’s probably a lot that has lead up to this point, starting from a young age, but 4 years ago I found the markets and Bitcoin. It was at a point in my life where things were low and I found drug dealing. My first package was a package of Xanax bars. I made $1,000 profit in about 4 days because, at the time, pressed bars weren’t very well known so my prices were dirt cheap compared to everyone else’s.

That’s the moment things changed for me. The moment where I fucked everything up for myself.

4 years later, here I am. It’s a fucking addiction. When I stop, it’s for a month, max besides the one year I quit due to personal and OPSEC (Operational Security) related reasons. It’s a craving I can’t make go away. The adrenaline of doing something illegal, the money, the respect, the power you have over your little group of people…I don’t know…it’s impossible for me to explain so I’ll explain the more addicted part now.

The money.

You think drug dealing will ruin your life because of prison or getting robbed, and while true, there’s a sneakier way nobody tells you about; MONEY. I’ve dropped out of college and haven’t held down a job more than 6 months due to it. When you make $55-75K a year WITH NO TAXES, everything else is a blur. College? That takes 4 years of being broke! I can’t do that! Holding down a minimum wage job? That’s like $400 a week, if you’re busting ass. I was making $1,000(PROFIT, not GROSS) a week, making a couple moves. I moved bulk only so I wasn’t meeting people every 30 minutes to make my money.

I was my own boss and money gave me freedom. Freedom. That’s where the addiction comes into play. Drug dealing was 50% of it but the other 50% was the freedom money gave me.

I make about, on average, $4,000 NET profit a month. My monthly bills are only around $1,800 for everything besides food(Love living in a cheap state) so that leaves me a good chunk of change to myself. That leaves me $2,200 a month in my own pocket. This monthly cost includes a maid, once a week, dropping my clothes off at a laundromat to get washed, dried, and folded, and having my groceries delivered to my house.

I have all the time in the world to myself. It’s so addicting.

Want to go play Laser Tag and ride Go-Karts all day? You can! Want to go do 18 holes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday? Grab some cigars and let’s go! Want to take a week long vacation? Easy, all you gotta do is tell your people that you’re leaving and to re-up while they can! Then you’re free to leave! Want to smoke weed and play video games all day? Done! Want to learn a skill like playing piano, programming, or anything? You can practice 8 hours a day!

I’m not even mentioning the material items. I have a PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Gaming PC, MacBook, TaylorMade golf club set, Boosted Board, HTC Vive, 4K TV’s, all the smart home gadgets an apartment can have(Lights, outlets, TV’s, ect), and clothes galore. I also have a pretty decent car. If I don’t have it, I have multiple options to get it. I can either save up and wait, trade product for it, or just up my sales to cover the cost.

Oh, that’s another thing you can’t do with a paycheck, upping your sales. If I need money or just want to thicken the savings account, I can just push my sales a little harder. Offer a slight discount for more bulk, bring in a different product, or seek out new customers. $6,000 months are not crazy uncommon. Drugs sell themselves.

So yeah, you can see where everything becomes an addiction. Life is just…easy. Drugs sell themselves. Money gives you freedom. It’s a bad mix.

The problem is quitting. I could quit today and have a pretty decent savings to hold me over but after that, I’d have nothing. I have no college education and no work experience I’d be willing to put down on a resume. I have no references. I have no legal connections. I have nothing besides the business I’ve. built around myself. Surrounded by people who do the same thing that I do.

I have a couple moves I could make but my motivation is shot. I could go back to college, that’s a great option. I could hone in on my weed growing skills and save up for when legalization comes to my state. I could build a legit business.

For now though, I’ll stick to what I know and what I’m good at. Hoping to find the dragon I’m chasing.

How do you avoid getting caught?

OPSEC, OPSEC, OPSEC, OPSEC!

I’ve had buyers busted before with much, much harder drugs than Xanax. I suspect all of them to have said my name. I doubt they’re going to do a prison sentence when they could just get a buy on me.

  1. They shouldn’t have any trial of communication between the two of you. Never, ever, ever, ever leave a trail! Once asked for proof they should go “uh….” and that’s it.
  2. Cut them off. I don’t care how close you are. I don’t care if the charge has nothing to do with drugs. If they are in handcuffs, they are cut off. Never to be spoken to again.
  3. Keep a tight knit circle. 3 people at most. None of them are to know each other. It’s less people you deal with, the less people you have to keep track of.
  4. House is always, always clean! Never keep ANYTHING drug related in your house.
  5. NO SOCIAL MEDIA!
  6. Your darknet laptop should not have a HDD and should be AWAY from your house. NEVER connect to a darknet site at your home internet.
  7. Packages should never come to your house. Always use a drop.
  8. Don’t use a bank. Hide your cash like you’d hide your drugs.
  9. Lawyer on retainer. This should be the first thing you pay for with drug money. Memorize his number. Give him bail money to use and only he has access to it.
  10. DO NOT TOUCH PRODUCT PACKAGING! Use gloves when packing up product and wipe down with rubbing alcohol. Wear gloves when dropping them off to your buyer.
  11. I take an extra step and do not do transaction. I take the money and the buyer will get the package via a dead drop within the hour. I DO NOT hand drugs over for money EVER. If your buyer doesn’t understand this rule, do not sell to them.

It seems like you have all your bases covered, although there are still ways of getting busted and to think you’re 100% untraceable seems ignorant

If your goal is to be 100% untraceable, you’ve failed from the beginning.

You just need to be worth less than the investigation. Think of your police force like a thief casing a house(Houses are drug dealers). The thief is going to pick a house that is easy to get into. They want low hanging fruit. They don’t want to have to use explosives or expensive drills to get your TV when the neighbors have one and the front door is unlocked. Now, if they know you’re holding diamonds or a mound of gold…they might be way more willing to use expensive tools and force to get in.

Is it worth going after a mid-range Xanax dealer who has his bases covered? The time, energy, and man-power spent on busting me wouldn’t net much. It’s my first offense and I have a decent lawyer ready to fight for me. There’s a story of a guy who ran a sled over the Canadian border with $55 MILLION worth of Xanax, they gave him 5 years of house arrest in a Federal court room. I’ve studied case after case of Xanax related busts.

Or

Would you rather focus on the “dumb” drug dealers who use Facebook and Snapchat to sell to anyone and everyone?

Could you give an example of a drop for ordering items? I just can’t see how this is secure. Abandoned house, PO box, neighbor, friend? How can you securely pick up a package at your drop location?

Rent a house in a ghetto area with a fake ID. I didn’t need to give up my social security or anything. I just showed my ID, signed papers, and handed over deposit and first months rent.

My buyer(s) will tell me the quantity they want, I’ll either do it hours later or the next day depending on how I feel, and I’ll go drop the product in a discrete location where I can check if anyone is following me or not and I usually use 2 level transportation(Car to one spot then ride my bike to another location), I’ll meet them, take cash, and then communicate with them later with the GPS location.

I’m a little surprised that your buyers are willing to hand you cash before you’ve given them the product. What guarantee do they have that you won’t just run off with the money?

They don’t have to do business with me. I have super competitive pricing so if they’re not willing to give me a try, there’s somebody who will. I always let the first pack go for a lower amount, like 100, but after that it’s 500 or more minimum. It’s not worth my time to do any less.

You said that you leave your phone at a different location and not your house. Doesn’t it not really matter if you’re using an app like wickr? Do you randomly go to the place and check your messages?

Your phone has GPS and more than likely a backdoor installed.

It’s a pain in the ass but here’s how I do it:

You can leave your phone at your drop house if you turn it off/take out the battery but I’ll leave my personal phone at home, go pick up the burner phone, drive to a coffee shop or library or something, and use it from there. I can usually get all my deals set up within an hour from there. After that, I’ll go drop the product off at my location, meet my person, and then go back to get my phone. I’ll use my phone in my car a good 5-10 miles away from my drop house, just a quick drive, to text them the location.

There were points in my life where I was meeting 3 people and points in my life I was working with just 1 person. The more people I’m working with, the more work I have to put in.

How do you avoid leaving a trail of your communications?

here’s a couple anonymous apps that you can use BUT do NOT use them on your personal phone. Get a “burner” phone and use them on there AWAY from your home. Turn the phone off and keep it in a different location than your home. NEVER TAKE IT TO YOUR HOME!

It’s a lot of work but you NEED to take your OPSEC seriously.

What It’s Like To Lose Your Child Unexpectedly?

(photo: @samuelmartins7)

My 18-year-old daughter died in a car accident on her way to school a few weeks ago. I’m going to try to convey what it’s like.

Police officer shows up at the door: This will haunt me for the rest of my life. My fiancee and I were sleeping, as we work 3rd shift. The beating on the door was loud… I’m not sure how long he was there before it woke me up. It did not wake my fiance up. I looked out the window and saw an unmarked SUV but I could tell it was the police. I answered the door and he said my name. I answered “yes”. He said my daughter’s name and I said “yes”. He said that she was in an accident (I knew what was coming next) and that she had expired. I went to my knees and made noises I’ve never heard myself make before. He got me inside to the couch and asked if anyone else was there. I told him my fiance’s name as I was crying uncontrollably. He yelled her name a number of times and she came out. He started talking to her and she started yelling “Oh my God” and came to hold me. She and my daughter were very close.

Telling family: About a half hour later I started making phone calls. This part is crucial. If this happens to you, make these calls as soon as possible or have someone go tell them quickly. Word spreads like wildfire… especially with social media. You do not want loved ones finding out this way. Someone posted about this on my wall only a few hours after this happened. I made the calls and cried as I listened to them wail. It is aweful.

Seeing her after the accident: At first I did not want to see her. I kept saying “That’s not her.” Later in the day I changed my mind. This was extremely surreal and heartbreaking. She was transported to the funeral home the same day. We all stood there in the hallway until a man asked if we were ready. He opened a door to a room, I walked in and saw her all by herself at the far end of the room in a casket. This was my daughter in front of me… my beautiful girl that was full of life that very morning. I kissed her forehead repeatedly and told her how much I love her.

People and planning: Besides the grief, I never realized how overwhelming something like this was. While I was still in shock, people were reaching out from everywhere… many of which I hadn’t heard from in years. I was on the phone for the majority of each day for over a week straight… not to mention all the people visiting. All of these people were sincerely caring and I appreciate them all, but I can’t exactly describe what it does to your emotional state other than saying it’s overwhelming and draining. The planning is another thing that I did not expect and it begins almost immediately. There are countless things that needed to be taken care of and I had to do all of these things while grieving. I’m still not done with everything, actually.

Her funeral: It was six days after her death and I thought I had no tears left. I was very wrong. I still could not completely wrap my mind around the fact that I was at my own daughter’s funeral. I’ve known other people who have lost children… but this had actually happened to mine.

Grieving: The first two days after her accident were filled with non-stop crying and disbelief. I’m a grown man who rarely cries. The third day was off and on crying all day and now it’s about 2 to 3 times a day. For the first week it hit me especially hard in the mornings when I woke up. I’m now in a state of constant sadness and still some disbelief that she is not coming home… but not as much crying. The most accurate and heartbreaking word I can use to describe this whole thing is “permanent”. It’s the most permanent thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. No matter how much my mind tries to find a way around it at times, she’s not coming back.

Guilt and Regret: I wish I had done things different. I wish I had spent more time with her than what I did. I wish I had protected her more than what I did from those who were unkind and even emotionally abusive to her. I wish I had been awake that morning to see her off to school… maybe I could have changed something and maybe she wouldn’t have wrecked. I wish I could have been there to hold her during her last minutes of life. I wish it would have been me instead. I feel guilty doing things… like going out to eat (haven’t felt like cooking) and taking my other two children to the movies last night.

Her accident: I’m still obsessing over it and still finding out details from those who were there. She knew she was dying and was asking those around her to pray with her. She always wore her seatbelt but she didn’t have it on this time. Did she drop something and take it off? She had food in the car that she got from the nearby gas station that morning. I checked her phone and my Verizon log and she wasn’t texting or talking to anyone. Why did she over-correct her steering? These are the questions I’m trying to answer. I know it won’t change anything but for some reason I need to know.

I’m only 2 weeks and 3 days in to this and I know I have a long way to go… but so far this is the best way I can describe what it’s like to lose your child. She was extremely smart, talented, beautiful and kind… she had an amazing life waiting on her. I love her to no end and I miss her every minute of the day.

I have to remain strong for those who need me… so I think telling my story and pouring my heart out here helps in a way.
