Fucking Jonnhy Football scored a 32 on his Wonderlic Test, which was one of the highest of the 2014 QB class. The Wonderlic Test is a 12-minute, 50-question exam that is designed to measure learning and problem-solving abilities. The test is given to almost every draft-eligible player, and it has been administered by the NFL for more than 30 years. The questions are not especially difficult, in and of themselves, but the compressed time frame is a wild card that can make questions seem more challenging. Let’s put Johnny’s score in perspective with the wonderlic scores for each NFL team’s starting QB:

Answer Key

1 – 1/27 – Every number is divided by 3 in the sequence. 

2 – True. All Tigers wear white sneakers and the boy is a Tiger. 

3 – $1.05. 21 cents x 5 = 105 cents = $1.05. 

4 – One. Look closely – the I and E are switched in the first; the G becomes a C in the second; the comma after Hoff is replaced with a period in the third; the R in Warner becomes an N in the fourth; and Pino is Pina in the fifth. The sixth is identical. 

5 – 3 – Mean neither the same nor opposite. Look the words up in the dictionary. Nothing alike. 

6 – 300 feet. 20 feet in 1/5 seconds becomes 100 feet in one second (20 x 5 = 100.) So, 100 feet in one second is 300 in three (100 x 3 = 300.) 

7 – 6 feet - 10 cents a foot, 20 cents for 2 feet, 30 cents for 3 feet, etc.

13. – 38. If the sister is twice as old, she’s 32. The boy will be 22 six years from now, so 32 + 6 = 38.

15 – March. March and September have equal amounts of sunlight and darkness on the 21st of each month. 

16 – 17. 32-1 = 31. 31-2 = 29. 29-3 = 26. 26-4 = 22. So, the next thing you subtract is 5. 22-5 = 17. 

17 –  All of the other numbers are odd. 

18 – H. Replace A with 1, B with 2, C with 3, etc. Multiply the first column by the second column to get the third. D = 4 and B = 2, so 4×2= 8. The eighth letter of the alphabet is H. 

19 – August. The Southern Hemisphere is opposite of the Northern, so our summer is their winter. August is the only month listed remotely close to our summer.

At San Quentin, 647 condemned inmates wait to die in the most populous execution chamber in the United States.

Lethal Injection Procedures

When Execution Order Is Received

As soon as the execution order is received, the condemned inmate is moved into a special security area of the prison. Based on hourly checks, staff document his/her behavior and bring anything unusual to the warden’s attention.

The inmate receives priority visiting privileges; no visitors are turned away without authorization of the warden. Every effort is made to accommodate visits by the inmate’s attorney including weekend or holiday visits if necessary.

Pre-Execution Reports

Two reports are prepared within three weeks of the established execution date. The first is 20 days before execution; the second is seven days before execution. Each report includes:

• Psychiatric report – Results and interpretation of examinations, interviews and history of the inmate by three psychiatrists which will be used to determine the inmate’s sanity.
• Chaplain report – Comments on the inmate’s spiritual and emotional well-being.
• Summary of behavior – Observations noted by case worker and custody staff.
• Cover letter from warden – Includes firsthand information from interviews, observations or communication with the inmate and his/her family or friends.

The seven day pre-execution report discusses any changes that have occurred since the first report.

Sanity Review Requests

Within 30 to seven days before the execution, the inmate’s attorney may submit current psychiatric information that may have a bearing on the sanity of the condemned inmate. This information will be provided to the panel of psychiatrists to consider in completion of the pre-execution psychiatric reports.

Last 24 Hours

During the day before the execution, the warden will make special arrangements for visits by approved family members, spiritual advisors, and friends.

About 6 p.m. the day before the execution, the inmate will be moved to the death watch cell which is adjacent to the execution chamber. From then on, a three-member staff unit will provide a constant death watch.

Soon after he is rehoused, the inmate will be served his last dinner meal. The prison makes every effort to provide the meal requested by the inmate.

Between 7 and 10 p.m., the inmate may be visited by the assigned state chaplain and the warden. The inmate may read, watch television, or play the radio. He can request special food items and coffee or soft drinks.

The family, spiritual advisors and friends the inmate has selected as witnesses may arrive up to two hours before the scheduled execution.

About 30 minutes before the scheduled execution, the inmate is given a new pair of denim trousers and blue work shirt to wear. He is escorted into the execution chamber a few minutes before the appointed time and is strapped onto a table. [The chairs previously used for lethal gas executions have been removed.]

The inmate is connected to a cardiac monitor which is connected to a printer outside the execution chamber. An IV is started in two usable veins and a flow of normal saline solution is administered at a slow rate. [One line is held in reserve in case of a blockage or malfunction in the other.] The door is closed. The warden issues the execution order.

Chamber Description

The California execution chamber is a self-contained unit at San Quentin State Prison which includes:

• Witness area—Entered via a door to the outside, the witness area has a view of the chamber through five windows.
• Execution chamber—An octagonal vacuum chamber, approximately 7-1/2 feet in diameter. It is entered through a large oval door at the rear of the chamber.
• Anteroom—Contains three telephones. One is kept open for use by the Governor; the other is for use by the State Supreme Court and Attorney General’s Office; the third is connected to the Warden’s office. The lethal injections are administered from the anteroom. The area also includes the valves and immersion lever used for executions by lethal gas.
• Chemical room—Includes storage cabinets and a work bench, plus the chemical mixing pots, pipes and valves used for executions by lethal gas.
• Two holding cells—Each contains a toilet and room for a mattress.
• Kitchen/officers’ area—Includes a sink, cabinet, counter area and resting area for staff.

The Execution

In advance of the execution, syringes containing the following are prepared:

• 5.0 grams of sodium pentothal in 20-25 cc of diluent
• 50 cc of pancuronium bromide
• 50 cc of potassium chloride

Each chemical is lethal in the amounts administered.

At the warden’s signal, sodium pentothal is administered, then the line is flushed with sterile normal saline solution. This is followed by pancuronium bromide, a saline flush, and finally, potassium chloride. As required by the California Penal Code, a physician is present to declare when death occurs.

After all witnesses have left, the body is removed with dignity and care. Typically, the family claims the body. If not, the State makes the arrangements.

These helmets are designed to utilize cameras on the outside of the aircraft to project the pilot’s surroundings onto his mask. This way, if the pilot needs to look at the ground directly below him, he no longer has to roll the aircraft. He can simply look straight down, essentially looking through the floor and his own body! This picture of 14-year-old Regina Kay Walters was taken by serial killer Robert Ben Rhoades, who toured the country in an 18-wheeler equipped with a torture chamber in the back. This photo was taken in an abandoned Illinois barn, where Rhoades killed Walters after cutting off her hair and making her wear a black dress and heels.

The picture Tyler Hadley had his best friend take right after telling him that he killed his parents to have a party. Tyler’s parents were dead in their bedroom while the party was going on.

The red car beside them was a car bomb that went off shortly after this picture was taken. The photographer died but the main subjects of the photo (man and the child) survived. A total of 29 people died in the blast.

Hair standing on end is a tell tale sign of an electrical storm nearby. It was taken at Sequoia National Park in California during the summer of 1975. Both brother were struck by lighting. One of them suffered severe burns and committed suicide later.

The toddler in the photo is James Bulger. He is being lead away from his mother by one of the two 10 year old boys who abducted and would later murder him. At the trial it was established that at this location, one of the boys threw blue Humbrol modelling paint, which they had shoplifted earlier, into Bulger’s left eye. They kicked and stomped on him, and threw bricks and stones at him. Batteries were placed in Bulger’s mouth. Police believed some batteries may have been inserted into his anus, although none were found there. Finally, a 22-pound (10.0 kg) iron bar, described in court as a railway fishplate, was dropped on him. Bulger suffered ten skull fractures as a result of the iron bar striking his head. Dr. Alan Williams, the case’s pathologist, stated that Bulger suffered so many injuries—42 in total—that none could be isolated as the fatal blow.

In 1989 at a Liverpool v. Nottingham Forest football game, there was an influx of Liverpool spectators due to traffic build-up. Thousands arrived late to the kick-off and began rushing into a small tunnel that led to the seating. Police organization played a crucial role in controlling the crowd.

As people flooded the seating, they were unaware that there were already too many fans and pressure began building up, creating a crush in the front rows against a fence erected to keep fans off the pitch. Steve – who started started dating Debbi in 2011 – is even banned from watching women on television or looking at pictures of them in magazines as Debbi has installed childproof filters on his laptop and mobile phone.

Doctors have diagnosed Debbi with Othello Syndrome – a rare psychiatric disorder which causes sufferers to believe their partners have cheated – even if they have little or no evidence. Debbi, of Leicester, admitted: ‘Even if Steve pops out for 15 minutes to buy a pint of milk, I make him take a lie detector test as soon as he gets home.’

Debbi was so heartbroken after the breakdown of a previous relationship that she swore she’d never get into another one – and experts believe the emotional trauma triggered her illness. Debbi’s jealousy got worse when the couple moved in together, and she began restricting what he could watch on television. ‘The only thing that could put my mind at rest was banning him from watching any programmes that have women in them. ‘Now, I won’t even let him watch The Weakest Link in case he fancies Anne Robinson but I’m scared he’ll have a sneaky look when I’m in another room.’ She has been prescribed anti-anxiety medication and is having therapy to deal with her issues, after which she hopes to marry Steve, who proposed earlier this year.
